The Director wants his niece on that role he is seeing she is going to lose against Kyoko and Knowing how the producer is goes for a full attack...Lets hope the other guy (the actor) shows some support...

I want to slap that one guy this chapter that called out Kyoko as a "mere talent". Such BS. She proved that she belongs there especially from the performance shown already. Way more than just "mere talent".

Anyways, Kyoko impressed me this chapter.

I have a feeling that this pseudo-actress woman that ran up the stairs too take a sneak glance at Kyoko's performance will sure become one big fat fishbone in the throat :-/

I wonder which one is worse: talent division or love me division. In terms of how her agency labels her - she is clearly at a disadvantage while competing against established actresses. Such a shame :(

I just want to point out, he is not insulting her abilities when he says mere talent. I think you guys misunderstood. If you read again, you see that underneath talent division on her page is the subgroup talent rather than actress. He's saying mere talent because her subgroup is called talent not that he thinks she's untalented.

Actually, I might agree with you except that he is pointing this out specifically to have her disqualified from the audition. He is deliberately denigrating her position (according to the Producers prejudices) in order to get her thrown out. Director Morizumi is working hard to get a leading role in this production for Kimiko, to the point where specific information that should have been given  about the auditions ahead of time had to be withheld from him in order prevent him from giving Kimiko an unfair advantage.

Loved this chapter! Her Momiji is great so far! It is clear and she is totally prepared for this role. But, it looks like she could lose it over a technicality. Another cliff hanger!

It seems that her uncle wasn't as useless as she thought he was. She should have had more faith in him. Not that it will matter in the end.

Realistic I know, but this started to get boring. I want my dose of REN ;PI could not disagree more. The acting stuff is the only reason I read this series. The romance is relatively cliche and very very clearly going absolutely no where until the mangaka is ready to end the series. If they actually started dating or got married, then I might care, but as it is, its just a waste of page space in a series that already has too few pages.

Holy friggin hell, leave Kyouko alone. She's clearly the best Momiji you could possibly ever find or cast. In fact, she's worth so much more than your silly little drama =_=

"Mere talent" mon yeux. Kyouko is world-class.

I agree, I knew that girl's Uncle wouldn't just sit by. The only thing he has up his sleeve right now is the Directors pride of keeping his word. Hopefully it all turns out sell because so far Kyoko has never failed to amaze anyone!!

It's nice he gave her another, but the other guy is annoying. What the hell it matters what divions she says she's from? She can't be from no angecy if she's good.
