-sigh- This chapter just adds to my frustration, because INSTEAD OF ADVANCING THE RELATIONSHIP, THE STUPID MANGAKA CONTINUES TO PULL US ALONG ADVANCING NOTHING.
At this point, I'm hoping Reino will just force himself on her just so I can see SOMETHING happen. -_- Baka, not giving Ren chocolate. D:
FYI,many, many things actually happen.Major development with regard to Kyoko's feelings. Her decision not to give chocolates to Ren should make you happy because it means SO much stuff.A great push to the romance. The fact that she erased him from her list makes me scream in fangirlistic couple-shipping joy(i'm a hardcore RenxKyoko fangirl).
This manga IS advancing. The developments/character development are excellent and done with mastery, and that's one of the reasons that make SB stand out among the majority of the rest shoujo(<-typically lovey-dovey,with feelings of "love" being born from nowhere, etc*barfs*).Oh,and last but not least, romance is only one part of this manga.During the Natsu arc we could see a great progress concerning Kyoko and her acting skills,as well as her maturing(which is actually the "purpose" of the manga-her maturing wholly as a person, that is).So I don't see "nothing happening".If you want a rushedsuper-paced,romance-fully-packed manga then obviously SB isn't for you.
Wow. I wouldn't call this rushed if after 140+ chapters, something finally happens romantically. Sitting through that many chapters where nothing romantic ever evolves is infuriating. I know that Skip Beat isn't a manga I really enjoy. The only reason I keep reading it is because I want to see who she ends up with, if anyone.
Yeah, and I don't honestly care about her advancing her acting because it's incredibly boring, because each arc, the same thing happens. She gets stuck in a role, thinks about it forever, somehow finds some miraculous inspiration, and apparently is the best actress people have ever seen. Yeah.
And how does not giving Ren chocolate mean anything in the advancement of romance? It's the complete opposite. Anyway, maybe I'm just sick of all these shoujo with completely dense female leads that make me want to stab them in the face. -_-
At least Bokura Ga Ita is starting back up again next month. *_*
