I will not be objective at all, because this manga is the love of my life and I've been into it since 13 years ago, so I'm just here, re-living the first half of it and reading the second half for the first time ever. Read this chapter slowly and I do love the vibe they give.
I'm actually not into the art of this series. When I read the mangaka's comments about her efforts to design the characters (in Chapter 3), I thought: "I can't (visually) even tell the difference between the young male characters besides that they have different hair colors/styles and one has a tattoo on his neck." I'm more into the sudsy plot. Given the former, I can't read manga that I find visually unattractive.
I love the art of the manga, they're even more handsome. ^__^
for me they're better in anime, have better shapes, but I still enjoy manga :P I think Aidou and Yuuki or Kain look good, but Kaname and Zero bit worse :P
