that's is not boring like everyone said, its a little transition's chapter, don't worry

Finally caught up, after probably like two months. Anyway, good chapter, although a bit uneventful. I feel like something really bad is about to happen though. It'll be nice to finally meet the natives next chapter!

Eyvar will start a war against the American Indians for sure at this point

                        Interesting discussion going on between Thorfin and Eyvar, with Thorfinn brining up a familiar name that we haven't heard about in a while.



Have to say though the pace is painfully slow, and these small chapters are definitely not helping.

I did enjoy this chapter, the Canute callback was nice. I enjoyed the conversation thorfinn had.

I feel like I caught up in a bad area, the short chapters are certainly not helping the pacing when I'm reading obce a month. Still very good, but probably the worst part of the manga so far.

Calm before the storm chapter. Having just one ship is going to cost them dearly. If Thorfinn doesn't want to fight, he has to have the option to evacuate

Have you only read comic strips before? A little, i remember i was read french stories, when we read a volume we absorb a core and sub-core for a conclusion, being an ideal way to read any manga in fact, maybe mystery stories can follow the two ways between read weekly/monthly.



I just felt odd that you were stating something so obvious like its something of great importance.

Just a chapter for the author to proselytize about how war is bad, turning Thorfinn into his mouthpiece more than an actual character. In fact, a good encapsulation of this manga's decline in the second half in my eyes.



Like it or not, Thorfinn, Eyvar is right that you need to at least be prepared for the prospect of the natives being hostile. It's by no means guaranteed, but in not even accounting for it at all Thorfinn is utterly derelict in his duty as leader of the colony.
