What the fuck was Ymir supposed to be? LMAO

The only thing I know is that the Jomsvikings mentioned they had some sorta "secret weapon" a few chapters before, but I didn't expect it to be that monster LMAO. I guess there had to be a way of stopping Thorkell...



So after checking some things, I can say that genetics are quite strange sometimes... Ymir may be an actual human with really weird genetic disorders which caused him to be mentally retarded, huge and with a lot of hair... I guess.

What even is Ymir? It's... not supposed to exist in such a realistic setting. Also, naming it Ymir, seriously? An AoT reference? In any case, it just feels wrong. How is it even able to speak? To express its desire for human flesh? It also came literally out of nowhere, no forshadowing. Really odd.
