Thorfinn's past is finally starting to creep up on him, i wonder what the others will think about it.

There is actually a theory out there which states that the new female hunter is the slave girl Thorfinn met when he was raiding with Askeladd. I doubt that is true, but I think the entire Gudrid situation might turn out different than what we expected: The new female hunter seems to be closer to the historical Gudrid than the Gudrid we journey with so far.



Welp, time to eat my own words. It would have been interesting to see a more historically accurate Gudrid, but this works well enough i suppose. Really interested in how this mess will be resolved.

In any case, this is huge for Thorfinn's redemption arc and moves forward the pressing matter of his pacifism in an inherently violent world.

Looks like we're back in action.

The past 15 or so chapters have been... good, but it felt like after the masterpiece that was farmland straws were being grasped at. Of course my doubts were unfounded as the master yukimura makoto brought us right back with a new character that seems to be great right off the bat. While farmland was thorfinn learning to be a better individual, this arc will probably be about his past wrongs catching up to him. Really great developments.

Well, about time Thorfinn actually face the consequences about the shit he did years ago.
