Vinland Saga Chapter 90 Discussion

The clam before the storm is rather long. Now I'll have to patiently wait a month like everyone else for a chapter.

I'm so mad rn. Re-reading this after watching the anime makes me realize how much better the manga is! I KNEW I WASN'T CRAZY! That was a half-assed adaptation from WIT. FUCK.

Farmer Ketil may have been pretending at first. But he is a warrior now.

He's gonna fight for his land and he's not running away. Warrior.

Good chapter, much better than the last one.



I was disappointed that there was no Thorfinn, but the bit with Snake was pretty interesting. I was surprised to learn that he was a Joms Viking (or that what I got from his helmet). He's a pretty cool character. This chapter also solves the mystery of Iron Fist Ketl; it's quite lame that he turned out to be a completely different person and the old geezer was only impersonating him.



As the first few panels of this chapter and Snake's assessment foreshadowed, this will not be a fight, it will be a slaughter.

I've been tolerating Farmland Saga better than most people I think, but even I am a little starved for some action. Can't wait, and can't wait even more for Thorfinn and Canute to meet. Also, Snake seems like a cool guy, I don't want him to get killed.

Really good chapter. The fights are going to begin and I for one liked the little mystery that he probably isn't Iron Fist Ketl. Can't wait for the next chapter.

                        Every party prepares for the skirmish and Thorfinn is nowhere to be seen. It's been a long time since the last full-scale battle, I can't wait.

Canute has a huge advantage here. He's going to slaughter those poor farmers.

haha that's nothing...i've been following berserk for over a decade now, and there we get one or two every 3 o 4 months, and irregularity is the norm there



eventually, we have to admit that the artwork in these manga is extremely good (as opposed to most weekly shonens), and waiting kinda makes up for it...and when the narrative is as good as well, then you have a masterpiece and plenty of fans that suffer like crazy, that can't let go, and only can wait and wait and wait in the hopes that the manga finishes before either the mangaka dies or you! XDDD

I too have been wondering why Folki wanted Thors dead and why Thorfinn hadn't confronted him about it in the prologue. I hope Yukimura will resolve that issue at some point.



Thorfinn vs Folki will be cool. I too hope there will be Ulf vs Thorgil or Ulf vs Snake.

I too really hate this Floki guy.. He is a bad guy, but not a really smart or strong guy for me to like him, he was get trolled by Askeladd a few times.. Why is this guy still alive while our Askeladd is dead ?!!
