That felt so short... also, I'm kinda sad they skipped the "reunion" between Leif and Thorfinn.

They somehow skipped the reunion between Thorfin and Letif.



It begins. Let see how much weight Thorfin is to Canute, by all means these farmers will probably get annihilated, what's left is their fateful encounter again.

Anyway, things are about to get serious.

                        The fleet is arriving, and Thorfin intends to stay.

Snake looked pretty worried when the fleet arrived. This doesn't look good.



I have no idea what Thorfinn's role in this battle will be. He looked pretty pissed at Ketil, so I don't know if he feels enough attachment to the farm to stay and fight after what happened to Arneis. And speaking of Arneis, man, she was in an even worse state than I thought. I anticipate that she will be the one to survive and she and Einar may end up raising the baby together.



Can't wait to see under which circumstances Thorfinn and Canute will reunite.

Marathoned the series today. Speaking for my experience as a whole, I can't say I'm impressed. What's been bothering me for the most part is the prince's unbelievable transformation much earlier in the series. Still not buying this magical love transformation into a cold blooded mastermind. And now he's a pseudo main character, ugh. Oh well, the history's not bad, along with some of the big fighting sequences, although that's pretty much died down with good guy Thorfinn turning hippie on us.



I'll be back in a couple years and check up.

I noticed that too.  At first I thought there might have been some missing pages or something, because I thought that event was a pretty big one.  Guess not.

Lol, Ketil and his peasants are about to get wrecked.



And poor Arneis, I hope she's going to make and if not, hopefully she won't suffer for too long.
