Love it how the author is tying both storylines together.



And one thing for sure, it won't be a chill trip for Ketil.

Things are suddenly going to get  difficult for Thorfinn. I can feel it.

Well, I can understand why they wanted a timeskip instead of showing 3 years of them cutting down trees. And, perhaps we'll find out if there was any particular reason Thorfinn was sent to that farm.

My guess is that the farm owner dude gets killed on his trip, and thus Thorfinn and his buddy realise they'll never be freed because whoever takes over won't let them, so they have to escape.  Or something.



I'd have to agree with Beatnic on this to a cetain extent. I do think the master will die, but don't think they'll try to escape. Somewhere along the line something will happen like what the old master was talking about (back when they first ate with him) with too much lands and riches. We'll see the army come through the area and this is where I think we'll see the reunion between Canute, Thorkell and Thorfinn. Who knows, just my thoughts.

My guess is that the farm owner dude gets killed on his trip, and thus Thorfinn and his buddy realise they'll never be freed because whoever takes over won't let them, so they have to escape.  Or something.

I'm wondering the same thing.  I really enjoy the peace, and the change of pace that happened a while back, but I wonder when and how things are going to eventually turn out?
