Just to pop back into this thread to say I'm at around chapter 60 and have given the manga a 10.  It is a really good exploration of revenge, so don't make any simple assumptions about the story, it's really epic.

I saw the anime by Wit first and decided to check out the manga after the cliffhanger ending. Seems Wit went out of order to make it chronological for the anime adaptation, this chapter is actually adapted for episode 7 in the anime. I was surprised “Normanni” was in the manga because I didn’t really like the episode and it seemed like filler. However it’s clear to me that they’ve adapted it faithfully in the anime. Good job Wit Studio for episode 7, I guess.

Pretty good art and action though. A decent start.

Well i had my eye on this but i was reluctant starting another slow manga but i guess i gave in and finally started it. Well the time and battles seems exactly what i expected, for now the character of the main seems lukewarm to me and also a little more comedic faces than i expected but all in all it looks good with decent artwork.

The art gets much better since it moved to Afternoon and became monthly instead of weekly.



The first chapter was great. Pure awesomeness. But yeah, the story seems pretty simple but hopefully it becomes more in depth. This is completely different from Planetes but it retains some of it's charm.

Decent start. Thorfinn seems pretty badass.

hm was expecting much more... especially story wise. i wasn't much impressed to be honest. hope it will get better later on. the art was quite nice though. 3/5
