Very good! Love the character of Askeladd even though there hasn't been much developement yet. Looks like the manga will have a nice combination of comedy and great action. Looking forward to reading more.
Very nice art. Very clean and detailed. Each of the action sequences, im able to follow pretty easily. Historical fiction has always been a very rare genre in the medium. I am glad i finally picked this up. I am so far liking it. Although can't really say much bout the main character Thorfinn. But this was a nice first chapter showing the atrocities of war and the brutal carnage.

How can they "fire" a weapon before firearms even existed? The story is set in the 11th century, and the first guns appeared in the 14th century 😅
