Askeladd's backstory (if true of course) is fascinating! I wonder if he really hates Danes like he says.



And I loved how Thorfinn brings the prince out of his muteness. The prince was actually pretty cute.

I imagine Thorfinn will make Canute more vocal, and Canute will make Thorfinn less of a murderous teen.

Lol yeah, the "F*ck off baldie" part was pretty funny, and also I think the prince is gonna see Thorfiinn as a rival sooner or later. But I don't know why askeladd said that he hated danes... I guess he's just very good at hiding his true emotions.

Who knows what Akeladd is doing. You can't take his word of anything. He might be fooling the Welsh so he can survive or he might be fooling the Vikings that he likes them. His a really tricky bastard.



My question on whether the prince could majestic or a fool has been answered. His a fool alright.

I detect the start of a sweeping bromance between Canute/Knut and Thorfinn and I am SO DOWN!!!! I feel like Thorfinn really needed someone to work off of in order to work better as a character, so this is really exciting.

Revelation was really interesting.
