Great chapter, I detect a potential relationship of some kind between the Prince and Thorfinn.

Thorfinn teasing the "princess" was a really fun part to read. Canute is an interesting character, and i sense a great relationship is going to develop between him and Thorfinn.

I know the last reply to this thread was 3 years ago...but I am a bit late to the Vinland Saga party.



Holy cow what a chapter!  I have been hooked on this manga all along of course...but seeing such character development (if its true) in Askeladd is fantastic!



Also, when Thorfinn speaks, he doesn't waste words which I really like.  And he is damn funny too!

Ahahaha what a chapter!



The revelation concerning Askeladd's heritage aside, similar to everyone else on here, I couldn't stop laughing when I read this part



And it got even better with Thorfinn teasing the prince!



I expect Thorfinn to be an important element to the prince's journey of self-improvement & maturity. And Thorfinn might actually get some social interaction with someone besides Askeladd.

I guess we're going to see Thorfinn make the prince man up and eventually he'll realise Askeladd's plan to ruin Denmark.  (no, I dont know early 11th century history that well)

Askeladd's backstory (if true of course) is fascinating! I wonder if he really hates Danes like he says.



And I loved how Thorfinn brings the prince out of his muteness. The prince was actually pretty cute.

I imagine Thorfinn will make Canute more vocal, and Canute will make Thorfinn less of a murderous teen.

Lol yeah, the "F*ck off baldie" part was pretty funny, and also I think the prince is gonna see Thorfiinn as a rival sooner or later. But I don't know why askeladd said that he hated danes... I guess he's just very good at hiding his true emotions.

Who knows what Akeladd is doing. You can't take his word of anything. He might be fooling the Welsh so he can survive or he might be fooling the Vikings that he likes them. His a really tricky bastard.



My question on whether the prince could majestic or a fool has been answered. His a fool alright.
