Pretty good I like it. One issue I have is the importance the author and MC put on family yet the is essentially 0 interactions between them. I mean after his dad got crippled there was not even a single line of dialogue between them. The lack of interaction between characters in general is a general issue, but between him and his parent who he is supposedly cherishing is just lazy.

I gently knocked on the door to his office, no answer. I knocked again and still no answer.  Maybe he's not there.  I turned the door nob and proceed to go in. What greeted me was a stern, glaring stare.
