This was a concise and charming story. The emotions were simple and easy to follow, with the main character (MC) maintaining a calm and composed demeanor throughout. This emotional stability can largely be attributed to his experience of transmigration, which helped him mature and develop a more adult perspective.

This maturity is evident in his interactions with other adults and in how he manages conflicts. Instead of losing his cool, he remains level-headed and in control.

The male lead (ML) is also quite straightforward in his goals, primarily wanting to break free from his uncle's influence and pursue his own path. While their relationship is described as complicated, the uncle’s presence is minimal, and the issue is resolved efficiently and without unnecessary drama.

, it's a smooth and enjoyable read, and the translator's notes on idioms add a valuable layer of insight. It’s great to thank both the author for crafting this story and the translator for making it accessible to a wider audience.

This is a hilarious short story where the main character's transformation leaves everyone speechless. The male lead is incredibly affectionate towards the main character, and they hit it off immediately, falling deeply in love. It’s both funny and entertaining.

It started off great, but I kind of skipped through the middle. The conflict revolved around business and family issues. I really liked the concept where the main character returns to his original body and becomes more sensible due to his transmigration experience.

This isn't a novel that will leave a lasting impression, but it's a good choice for a quick read.

I need more stories like this. This is a fresh take—I absolutely adore narratives set post-transmigration. While they aren't as common, I'm aware they do exist. I've read quite a few, but I always appreciate those that are exceptionally well-crafted. I love this novel; it's sweet, humorous, and completely free of angst. If you're looking for a quick, engaging, and uplifting read, this is perfect.

Actual rating: ~4.4, voted 5 because I believe the novel deserves a higher rating than what it currently has.

The first part of this novel is genuinely hilarious; the author has a great comedic touch. It’s even funnier if you have a basic understanding of Chinese sayings, slang, and internet culture, but the translator included plenty of notes, so it’s not a problem if you’re not familiar with them.

I’ve always felt that comedy as a genre can either be a hit or a miss, depending on:
    a) Whether the author is actually funny or just thinks they are, and
    b) How well your sense of humor aligns with the author’s.

For me, this novel’s comedy was definitely a hit. However, the later parts shift away from comedy and focus more on emotional development, which becomes more serious. The main characters have a very healthy relationship, and their interactions are smooth and easy. While I didn’t feel an overwhelming chemistry between them, they were certainly cute together.

This is not your typical brainless, face-slapping, nonsensical rich young master plot. Most characters are intelligent, except for the male lead’s somewhat dimwitted cousin, but that adds a touch of realism. The plot is centered on the romance and character development, avoiding clichés and maintaining logical consistency. There’s surprisingly little drama, which is refreshing.

, it’s a nice read. High quality, but not outstanding. The early chapters had me laughing out loud.

A quick and enjoyable read, perfect for filling in gaps between more intense books. It's not heavily focused on plot. The main character (MC) is overpowered, and the male lead (ML) is somewhat overpowered as well. There isn't much drama, which was refreshing. While I enjoyed it, I don't think it will stick with me for long, and I might forget about it in a few weeks. Nonetheless, I would still recommend it, especially if you're looking for something light after reading tragic or angsty stories.

Very funny and relaxing read. The main character (MC) is a cheeky sweetheart, and the love interest (ML) is cunning yet gentle. It's a short story, and the plot is simple enough that it doesn't overstay its welcome.

That said, I'm a bit disappointed that the 'god of war' aspect doesn't really come into play. The MC is intelligent, and there's a team-building mini-arc where he's overpowered, but the whole idea of him being a brilliant general and an amazing fighter never really materializes due to the current timeline's circumstances. I kept waiting for him to showcase some incredible feats that earned him the 'god of war' title, but it never happened. While it makes sense given his original body wasn't that of a fighter, it still feels like a missed opportunity. There should have been something more.

Very sweet and funny short story. I really appreciate how the characters' feelings and relationship develop subtly. They don’t explicitly state their emotions, but their actions gradually change, and they come to realize their feelings without much drama or resistance (´͈ᴗ`͈✿) It’s very lovely! Their mutual understanding is something that only long-term couples can achieve. Even their secrets aren’t really secrets to each other.

Additionally, every chapter had me giggling uncontrollably. The comedy was excellent. Sometimes a chapter starts off really sweet and romantic, but the ending has me laughing out loud. The main character is so chaotic, and the love interest’s attitude is always, “Well, what can I do if my heart is already his?” 🤣

The translation is also very satisfying. I loved every footnote! Thank you so much, dear translator! ♡ (˶˃wt˂˶)
