    The pace seems a bit sluggish to me, but overall, I find it an engaging read. The story starts with their early encounter, where the main character (MC) realizes the potential romantic interest from the male lead (ML). However, the progression is slow due to extensive explanations on magic and refining processes, which dominate the chapters rather than world-building. There's not much development of the setting, but the various powers used are intriguing.

    While the pace can be dull at times, I appreciate the MC's endearing qualities – they're cute, vulnerable yet courageous, despite being cautious and afraid of getting hurt. Their determination to help or protect others without fully understanding the risks is quite charming. On the other hand, the ML remains enigmatic; his expressed interest in the MC leaves me wondering if he's genuinely serious or simply playing along.

    I'm looking forward to more, but for now, I need a break as the current pace doesn't entirely captivate me.
