The town of Hershey boasts some of the finest quality chocolate in the world, and it turns out the local housewives couldn't get enough of it. It came cheaper than water to them, and the majority of them and their daughters have indulged in it for generations now. This caused their tiny population to expand greatly... just not in number of people. In this town, to be a woman and skinny is to be part of the minority; as a necessity, everything in Hershey is built to accommodate their primarily large population, from custom built, super sized, triple reinforced furniture to entire houses being scaled up so people can get through their own front doors every day. Those who live the "thicc" live have glamorized it, and developed their own kind of culture within the town. Things that would generally be considered "gross" or "inappropriate" in other parts of the world have become stylish here.

I was very reluctant to read this story but I am so glad that I did. Character development is phenomenal. The author is true to her lead female & male. Plot was interesting & developed well. A very original concept with excellent execution. I did struggle with writing style but it grew on me. 10/10

I really enjoyed reading this book. It didn't drag on with useless dialogue, just got better with the action and the relationship of all the characters.

I must say that this book was indeed a beautiful one. It mirrored so many harsh realities of life and the fact that life is pain and pain is inevitable. We as humans can either chose to move on from the pain or die in the pain. Healing is a choice and a process.
