After winning the grand slam of the best actress, Chen Que transmigrated to a rich family’s drama of deception, becoming a rich daughter who was swapped with malicious intent.
But after returning to her proper family, what awaits was countless forms of harassment and scorn, instead of kinship and affection!
Her biological parents told the world that she’s adopted and did not acknowledge her, neglecting her while fawning over Yuan Ranran who appeared as a poor girl to everyone but actually stole from Chen Que at every other turn, and shoved her to the arms of a pudgy investor.
Chen Que opened her eyes to find herself in a dazzling golden hall, and as this drama turned out, she would be taken away by the pudgy man by force, losing her purity while her reputation ended up in tatters.
Fury flared in her eyes at the very thought, and she opened the door, bent on mutual destruction with the investor when she noticed another man—wasn’t he Fan Cheng, the male lead’s youngest uncle and the true head of the Fan family? She walked up, planted herself on his lap, and said meekly, “Shall we go over the rules, sir?”

Art: The artwork was impressively detailed, characterized by intricate linework that remained consistent throughout the series. The style was well-executed without being overly elaborate—a common pitfall when it comes to excessive detail. That said, be warned that there are some graphic scenes where characters sustain injuries and become bloodied. These scenes are depicted with accuracy and detail but remain within acceptable limits, avoiding outright gore.
Character: The character development was satisfying to witness, as each character had their own backstory that eventually intertwined with others by the end. However, there were a few loose ends that felt slightly unresolved upon reaching the conclusion.
Enjoyment: I’m not particularly fond of romance, especially when it becomes overly sentimental and detracts from an otherwise compelling storyline. Fortunately, this manga featured a strong narrative paired with well-developed characters. It also provided moments of humor and occasional sadness, though it leaned more toward hilarity due to frequent misunderstandings among the characters.
Overall: In summary, it was a pleasant reading experience. While I wouldn’t choose to revisit it—it’s not among my favorites—it was enjoyable and held my attention from start to finish. There wasn’t anything extraordinary that distinguished it from similar works, aside from the familiar plot twists seen in many other mangas. Nonetheless, it delivered a worthwhile experience. <p>
Sure, the plot was somewhat predictable, and the art isn't particularly stunning, but what I loved most about the story were the characters. They all felt so endearing and hilarious to me! There were countless moments in the story that had me laughing until I cried. The characters often do absurd things (not always realistic, but that's part of the charm), and their interactions are absolutely priceless. Even minor characters have unique personalities and funny quirks. The humor is classic romance-comedy goofiness, and it's executed brilliantly.
Of course, if you're looking for something deep, intense, or intellectual, Cutie Boy might not be your cup of tea. But if you're seeking a story that's entertaining, adorable, and leaves you with warm, fuzzy feelings afterward, I highly recommend giving it a read!
The plot isn't particularly unique, and it's easy to predict what will happen next. The "gang" theme feels overused, but I suppose it's a trademark of the manhwaga since "Hot Blooded Woman" is also one of Hwang Mi Ri's works. It's about boys fighting, a naive girl, some hidden agendas, but everything works out in the end, resulting in a happy conclusion. So, it's no surprise that there are similarities between the two manhwa.
What draws me to Hwang Mi Ri's work is probably the art. I adore the manhwa style. The artist uses clean lines, incredible details, expressive faces, well-drawn backgrounds, and the overall appearance of the characters is just outstanding.
For me, characters are a key factor in enjoying a manhwa or manga. Personally, I like all the characters here, even those who might be considered villains. However, I don't really see them as villains but rather as troublesome characters, perhaps because they aren't as "evil" as those I've encountered in other mangas. Essentially, for me, all the characters are likable. ^_^
I truly enjoyed this series! I don't really care about any shortcomings or flaws as long as it keeps my interest alive, and I found myself laughing throughout the series. It's definitely on my top list!
Overall, it's a fantastic read and worth your time. If you enjoy themes of bullying, hate, love, and gangs, it's definitely worth checking out. ^^
