Tantalizing and thought-provoking, "Arranging A Mysterious Funeral For You" captivated my imagination with its intriguing premise. The narrative weaved a tapestry of suspense, challenging societal norms and exploring the depths of human emotions. Each chapter left me pondering the boundaries between life and death, as the protagonist's journey unfolded. While the 99 Yuan price tag initially piqued curiosity, it turned out to be more than just a monetary transaction – it was a ticket to an unexpected psychological thriller. This gripping tale would undoubtedly keep readers on the edge of their seats.

"Pay 99 Yuan: Arranging A Mysterious Funeral For You" is a thought-provoking and unconventional novel that delves into the complexities of life, death, and human relationships in an unexpected manner. The title itself piques curiosity, as it suggests a dark humor mixed with existential ponderings. The story likely revolves around a service that offers a peculiar service – arranging seemingly inexplicable funerals at a nominal price, which becomes a catalyst for exploring societal norms, personal desires, and the search for meaning.

The narrative may weave a tapestry of characters whose lives intertwine through these mysterious funerals, each grappling with their own existential crises and seeking solace or answers in the face of mortality. As the plot unfolds, it could challenge readers to question the nature of rituals, the value we place on memories, and the power of human connection in the face of loss.

What sets this novel apart is its ability to blend satire with profound emotions, creating a unique literary experience that invites introspection. It might not be your typical feel-good read, but it undoubtedly promises to leave a lasting impression by forcing readers to confront their own mortality and the absurdities they encounter in their everyday lives. Through its quirky premise, "Pay 99 Yuan" invites us to reflect on the deeper, more existential questions that lie beneath the surface of our mundane routines.

Read it already, it’s not worth it, the concept gets ruined after the first 5 chapters. It moves from focusing on the MC with a system to the family of a dead guy for literally most of the story.

I can't believe it. A good novel in Trial Read.

First, World Background and MC Character design is very normal and really not relevant to this novel. MC is more like an NPC who plays different roles, depending on the kind of funeral story he takes part in. Most of the time the MC isn't even there, not even as an observer.

Why do I still think this is absolutely one of the best novels on webnovel?
Because the author manages to create real emotion in me with every short story leading to and about the funeral of really interesting and unique characters.
At least I feel that way while reading, in hindsight this novel is full of cliches and stock image characters.

But all this doesn't matter while reading, because the writing, and I assume the translation, quality is JUST THAT GOOD!!!

If I ever recommend something, give this novel a try. I can't describe just why I am touched so deeply by this, but please please for once, let a good novel pass trial read.

    A review at 20 chapters.

I posted a couple of comments in the first chapters about what the MC was even there for, figuring that he would just be a slave of the system. I'm really not a fan of that type of trope, so I was dreading reading another story where the MC is led around by the nose.

Turns out I was half right, in that the MC isn't led around by the system, but by the situation and the customers he's helping. Which could be seen as a distinction without a difference. But it turns out it's not important at all.

You see, the MC isn't really the MC. He's a side character, and that's fine. The system isn't the MC either, as it just facilitates what the MC needs to do. No, the real main character isn't a character at all, but the story itself. Or rather, the stories contained within the story.

So far, in 20 chapters, there has been one completed story, and most of a second. The first was... heart wrenching. Good in its way, but the characters involved are really something else. There's anger, there's sadness, there's actual emotion that's pretty rare to find in these parts.

But the second story, well, it's just... beautiful. A story of a noble heart and unwavering spirit that is truly touching.

And where are the MC and the system in all this? They're just facilitating the stories being told. And that's just fine.
