In a world where the full moon heralds the awakening of unimaginable power, the gods call forth their champions during the ritual known as the Lunar Ascension.

Every six months, under the pale light of the moon, a select few mortals are chosen to undertake a perilous journey.

These fortunate ones must climb a mountain of corpses and cross rivers of blood, facing trials that will test their strength, courage, and resolve.

Those who succeed become Mythbounds and will rise as legendary heroes, their names immortalized in the annals of history.

But for the unlucky, the path leads only to darkness, obscurity, and death.
