Established in poverty, Winter never embraced the idea of becoming a Hunter—a special group of individuals with superhuman strengths and skills to kill Dent Creatures—monsters from hell that come in various forms and powers. The world has long been ravaged by these creatures, leading to the rise of clans of Hunters striving to take them down. However, Winter unexpectedly became a Hunter after nearly dying at the hands of a Dent Creature. In the process, he awakened something extraordinary, which came with numerous consequences.
