Protagonist, Emily, attends a party in the woods with her boyfriend, Cole, and their friends. When nature calls, Emily excuses herself to find a bathroom, but soon becomes disoriented in the darkness. As she searches for her way back, she\'s attacked by a wild animal and left injured.
Just as all hope seems lost, Emily is rescued by a mysterious and handsome stranger, Dalton. Emily is shocked to discover that Dalton is a werewolf, but despite the danger, she feels an inexplicable connection to him. As Dalton nurses Emily back to health, they begin to form a strong bond, and Emily finds herself falling deeply in love with him.
But their love is forbidden, and Emily is already committed to Cole. Meanwhile, Cole and their friends are frantically searching for Emily, and Dalton knows he must keep Emily safe from those who would seek to harm her.
