At first, I thought Necoco was such a sweet kitty who wouldn't hurt a fly, but then I turned the page, and their personality completely shifted. Are most of those love-neco types like that? Innocent yet perverted. I have friends like that, and I wonder if any of them would pull off cat ears well.

This was my first experience reading any neko yaoi/shounen-ai, and I have to say, it was intriguing at the very least. "Love Neco" drew me in so swiftly that I was genuinely surprised when I realized I had reached the end of the series. There were a few odd moments or elements that didn't quite fit, but overall, it was undoubtedly unique and incredibly adorable!
Art:
"Love Neco" also marked my first encounter with Mishima Kazuhiko's art style. It's undeniably charming and truly elevated the story. I found myself laughing frequently at the background artwork (make sure to pay attention!) and some facial expressions left me gasping for breath!
Character:
Definitely one of the standout aspects of "Love Neco," the characters are so contrasting that they actually complement each other perfectly, like pieces of a puzzle. It was fascinating to observe the dynamics between everyone and how those relationships evolved in the final chapters.
Enjoyment and Overall:
This is such a delightful story, and since it's not overly long, you really shouldn't miss it. It gave me plenty of laughs and would be perfect for a quick read to brighten your day. READ IT! >.<
It's too bad it's a one-shot because I'd follow these characters anywhere. They truly grow dear to your heart.
Kazuhiko Mishima, I'm your fan now! You're amazing! I'm starving for more of your fascinating work.

Story: (8)
A guy orders a doll, only to find there's a catch. So what? But things get interesting when the doll is the same gender and obsessed with sex, disregarding consent. I found myself laughing at some of the situations caused by Necoco's antics. They brought a good dose of humor. The story wasn't overly twisted, but the doll's attempts at rape took it far from conventional "Love Doll" tales. Additionally, the concepts in the two side-stories were fantastic, offering another twist to the genre.
Art: (8)
Initially, the art seemed a bit odd, too squared for my taste. However, it grew on me and is quite distinct from the usual modern styles. Faces weren't overly smooth, and hair wasn't exaggerated, which was refreshing.
Character: (8)
The characters aren't extraordinary; some are clear stereotypes, but for a 7-chapter series, they're well-done. They're likable, even those not central to the plot. A few might seem bipolar, adding comedic effect rather than annoyance. None truly irritated me, which is impressive given the limited characterization possible in such a short time.
Enjoyment: (10)
I thoroughly enjoyed this brief, humorous yaoi series. I read it in about an hour, eagerly anticipating more of Necoco's antics. It's a quick, mostly comedic and romantic read that delivers well within its short span. There's a touch of emo moments, but they're brief. As someone who loves humor and awkward situations, this was a delightful quick read. I'd consider revisiting it for entertainment when bored.
Overall: (8)
Despite its lack of originality in story and characters, the entertainment value is high. It's a short read that keeps you engaged without dragging on.
