Bags of salt, spices and sugar stacked from inside the shop all the way out into the streets. Merchants loaded with goods going flooded the streets with their carriages.
The air was filled with fragrances emanating from all manner of spices. It was a prosperous, lively city at the side of the oasis. Sounds of metals being hammered and threads being woven were heard all over the place, as smiths and craftsmen were busy at work in their respective workshops.
The banner of the successor of the Kingdom of Swadia—Baron Kant—was hanging on the city gates. The citizens lived peaceful, happy lives, revering their lord from the bottom of their hearts.
Soldiers on the city walls armed with crossbows stood guard over the city, and footmen wearing mail armor patrolled the streets.  The place was one of peace and security.

Probably an unpopular opinion here, but any book that has a system is usually just a disappointment.

too much unnecessary details, the author keeps blabbing useless details, becomes tiring to read, like in the middle of a battle there would be 4 paragraphs explaining useless details

Man i really like the novel because i am a big mount&blade warband fan but for fuck sake they keep messing up the names and the swadians people and MC companions its gets to the point of being plain stupid on the part of translator so i had to drop this novel. Because translator keep fucking up MC companions names so bad that its unreadable.

Very out of context, his food supplies got sabotaged by his hostile entourage, his 2000 enemies were primitive, no tactics, no weapons, no armour, etc, he also had a an Magic item which made enemies intimidated and easy to lose morale and flee(he killed their leader in a decapitation strike with cavalry so that was a big blow to morale) he also had a voucher for 3 volley of 500 arrows from Tier-5 Archers so that killed 3/4 of the enemy in an instant. The systems purpose to is to literally follow cause and effect, mc is in danger from enemies? Make a quest, mc is in danger of bankruptcy? Make a quest, I don’t know what else you expect. Selling salt was important because relying on the system isn’t sustainable, he went personally because the ‘agent’ was someone he knew and could get better conditions in a contract
