Hey, the author here! Make sure to leave a review if you liked this story :) This is a run-in-the-mill kind of story that I loved writing. Big fan of the chills and thrills so I decided to write one myself ;)

I really enjoyed the quirky use of imagery.  The description of the chair that made the man large because he fit it was a very different  way of dealing with an age old description necessity.  The funny quip about the old house looking good like an old actress with a now rich surgeon really made me feel the age while seeing the pretty new paint.  I really "saw" the house size when it was compared to an older brother in a family picture.  This author has very unique ways at looking at things and his metaphors are startling, fresh and vivid because of that.

If Zaphreal wasn't a snake but a human he would shake his head instead of his vertebrae or scream until his lungs were empty instead of slithering in an unknown language."Who are you and what did you do to me?"
