I Don't Need To Log Out

The MMORPG 'EVR' launched unexpectedly one day, complete with cutting-edge equipment that let players fully immerse themselves in the game. This was a leap forward from previous VR technology which felt far less realistic.

To stop people from substituting their real lives for the game, servers were closed during the day and on weekends.

I excelled at the game, but lacking friends or family, I spent my waiting time watching and betting on sports until the servers reopened—until the day I died and found myself regressed to a week before the game's release.

Now, I know every event that will unfold in the game.

I understand that the game is not just hyper-realistic; it's real.

And oddly enough, I don't need to log out!
