Damian on the other hand cannot understand the sudden change of events. One second he was trapped in Shoel and the next he was standing over a small red head with the greenest eyes he had ever seen, obviously surprised that he was here instead of the winged creature she hoped to see.
Regardless, they made the best of the situation.
He would help her get out of her engagement and she would find the summoning book that suddenly went missing after he appeared. He needed it unbind himself from her and start his plans. The same plans of revenge he had been creating since his time in Shoel and the same plans that will finally happen because of sweet naive little Adrianna.
