I found myself reincarnated into a game where you raise pretty girls to prevent the world’s destruction.

But wait, what are the guys doing while the girls are busy saving the world?

As it turns out, it’s a world where women are strong and men are weak.

In a world that disregards men, I have to survive as a ‘man who wields a sword.’

But… I’m incredibly strong, you know?

The narrative presents a fascinating dynamic逆转了性别角色, alongside an engaging main character and supporting cast. The new translator has done an excellent job. If you previously tried this novel and were disappointed due to the translation, I highly recommend giving it another chance, as the updated version is truly impressive. 😊

Honestly, I quite enjoy it. For those looking for a light-hearted and entertaining read within the mediocre academy harem genre, this book fits the bill. The translation is top-notch as well. The heroines are skillfully portrayed with distinct personalities, traits, and objectives. They each interact with the main character (MC) uniquely, making their perspectives and interactions just as engaging as the protagonist's. In fact, they might be considered the highlight of the story.

The gender reversal aspect is present, with the MC occasionally teasing the female characters, but it's not the central theme. If this doesn't appeal to you, it's not a major concern, as the focus is on the adventure and recruitment.

The author displays potential, and I'm definitely interested in checking out their future works. As for this particular story, it concludes satisfactorily. In summary:

In a world where women are dominant and men are vulnerable, the MC finds themselves in a mobile gacha game as a 1-star character. Their quest involves recruiting powerful gacha characters and battling enemies to save the world, providing an enjoyable escapade.

This novel held promise, but unfortunately, it falls short due to poor writing and a subpar translation. The high rating is misleading; it's a below-average read marred by a frustrating translation experience. Although there are some moments where the protagonist's character development is attempted, the sudden power-ups within the first chapter feel unjustified and rob the narrative of any genuine tension or growth. The interactions with female characters are contrived and unrealistic, with little depth or charm.

The harem aspect doesn't save the novel for me either, as the supporting characters are one-dimensional and lack substance. Their motivations and personalities feel superficial, making it difficult to care about their relationships or invest in their stories. The protagonist's enigmatic nature is undermined by inconsistent actions and unclear motivations, which hinder reader engagement. The action sequences are lackluster, and the overall pacing lacks the excitement one might expect from a thriller.

In conclusion, this book squanders its potential, resembling countless others on the platform that could have been much more captivating if executed better. It's a disappointment to see a mediocre offering pass off as a promising read.

"This is by far the most captivating gender-reversed narrative I've come across. The pacing is flawlessly balanced, ensuring that each chapter is a delightful read. However, I can't help but wonder if the story will genuinely conclude with a harem setup. I must admit, that would be a letdown if it doesn't materialize."
