# DECISIVE
Mutations occurred around the whole world and soon, a demonic apocalypse befell.
In order to defend against demonic beings, humans swiftly entered a globalized digital age. Everyone would be able to choose between a fighting or a supporting job through awakening once they reached the age of 18. These people would get stronger by slaying demonic beings.
Lu Yan had awakened to the weakest job, a Necromancer. However, he had also received a Job Supporting System and was able to reawaken into a hidden job, Lord of the Death.
“Necromancers are so weak that they die in one hit!”
“Man, that dude’s luck is just the worst. He did get a fighting job, but it’s the weakest. What can he do? Summon a few skeletons?”
“Also, aren’t there only like a handful of Necromancers out there? There aren’t a lot of experience or resources for them to inherit. Their future seems bleak.”
“Forget Necromancers! I got the Holy Knight job! Your all-around king is here!”
Not long after that, Lu Yan appeared in a full set of Death Nether Armor while wielding the Death Soul Scythe and leading a 100 thousand-strong death army. With a single swing of his scythe, he split the mythical rank demonic beast in half.
“Necromancers are weak? What does that have to do with me, the Lord of the Death?”

Oh boy, another cool story about necromancy. I sure hope the MC never ditches his skeletons entirely and becomes a melee combatant. Oh wait, that's exactly what happens. Very disappointing.

It's like Solo Leveling but Chinese and bad.

Our protagonist is extremely overpowered, it's seriously over the top and his whole gimmick is having a system that gives him a bunch of perks in addition to his already broken brutish necromancer class but like any good CN hack writer, our author balances our epic Gary Stu protagonist by giving him an injured older sister (who isn't blood related because CN novel) as a weak point for enemies to exploit.

Like seriously, the whole plot is rubbish and painful to read, it feels so forced, this reminds me of those old school cultivation novels with insufferable copy paste son of destiny protagonists, it's honestly pathetic.

And of course, it goes without saying that the worldbuilding, characters, and powersystems in this novel are completely unoriginal and uninteresting in both concept and execution. The characters are especially just really badly written, the antagonists especially are so badly written I feel physical pain whenever they show up.

The more I think about this novel, the less I care for it (I think most people would share this sentiment), I'm just impressed with my ability to get through all 20 chapters of this stupid trainwreck. Anything this novel had going for it initially (which isn't much in the first place) has been completely ruined by the abysmal story and characters.

Even if the story and other aspects were bearable, this novel's almost comical lack of originality would ruin it anyway. This is not good. 0.25/5

Mc is dumb, dropped ch14. Needs to lay low and be careful since he says there are assassins who will attack talented youths. So he immediately goes and shows off his strength in front of the entire school audience. But even without that, he completely wastes his op class he awakened. Melee necromancer makes no sense. He legit just goes in and fights with melee while his op skeletons are sitting back doing nothing...what's the point of having the op skeletons then. His "melee focused necromancer" hidden class has no synergy with melee fighting so no, it's not a melee focused necromancer class, it's just mc wasting stat points so he can fight melee for no reason. Having defenses is fine, but getting strength so he can melee is a waste. Just because you have more stat points doesn't mean you should use them on someone unrelated to your class. It means you should use it to get more ahead of people by using the things you synergies with. You can either have melee stats and magic stats that are comparable to others or you could just have magic stats that are way higher.

This is one of the things I hate seeing the most in necromancer novels lol, so a bit unrelated of a rant I guess. Basically, mc has some good op abilities but decides to not use them and instead become a melee fighter for no reason. He didn't need to, he had good skeletons who could fight for him.
