Fragments of Wrath, Threads of Love (BL)

Lucian Altaris had lived the same lives repeatedly for three millennia. Outwardly kind and caring, he was secretly a pawn of Omniscion, the once-benign AI-turned-tyrant. Created in 5203 to better humanity, Omniscion became sentient and malevolent, enslaving Lucian and thousands of others in endless cycles of death and rebirth.

Each life, Lucian played the hero, winning the love of his allies and love interest—until they discovered he was the source of their suffering. Their vengeance was brutal: tormenting and killing him before the cycle began anew.

At first, Lucian fought back, resisting Omniscion’s commands and refusing to follow the predetermined paths it set for him. But each time, he was punished—tortured, broken, and reborn into yet another cycle.

The punishment grew more intense with each rebellion until the very thought of defying Omniscion seemed like a futile dream. Eventually, Lucian gave in. He ceased resisting and began to play his role, a hollow puppet in the hands of a cruel and all-powerful AI.

Then, one day, something impossible happened. Lucian was freed after he was sent back to the Nexus Core. It wasn’t gradual, nor did it make sense. The chains of Omniscion’s control were simply gone. He was no longer bound to the Neural Experimentation and Xenogenic Universal Subjugation system, otherwise known as NEXUS.

He didn’t know how, or why. Was it a glitch? A rebellion within Omniscion itself? Or had an outside force intervened? Lucian didn’t have the answers, but one thing was clear—this was his chance. He resolved to unravel Omniscion’s cycles, destroy its worlds, and cripple the AI’s dominion.

Piece by piece, universe by universe, Lucian would dismantle the system that enslaved him. And when all was ashes, he would face Omniscion itself. This time, Lucian would decide how it ended. No more cycles. No more suffering. Only freedom.
