    yeah it did, i know you wont ever touch this novel again but if youre curious enough i think you should read chapter 1234 and scroll to around half of chapter you wont regret it and it will deffo answer your question, duh even chapter title says it all but if u scroll and find it you will see authors thoughts abt gender of mc, honestly i dropped it instantly after i finished this chapter, ik some ppl might find it offensive but i got totally repulsed... i did a review afterwards to warn others . Well, i think i managed to get quite far with my tolerancy for this weird work. anyway thx for your time and see u on some other comment section

    All I can say is... bad and inconsistent. I abandoned it at ch.1000 or soThis happens all the time.- In one chapter MC literally one shots whole bunch of enemies few big levels above him, proceed few chapters  forward... ??? MC: "Huh, this guy is one small level above me, can't win this one. Gotta figure out how I could run away". - It is hard to understand if MC suffers from some brain disorder or not, he has tons of OP treasures and yet he only remembers them at random occasions. - In one chapter he is decisive and all the shit, in next... WTF? I mean, who would even waste second on parents which abandoned you were you were a child without leaving even a single word? And after finally finding them in the most remote and forgotten hole in the universe, their comment is "Sorry, we can't tell you anything" and leaving yet again which ends in complete WTF... MC actually builds even higher pedestal for his parents. And parents are just one example of this, book is plagued by same thing all over.Seriously, the only redeeming quality of MC is his reaction when someone threatens him with life of other people. But, even that gets pretty boring and repetitive after 10 times reading the same thing.
