Aether's Ascent

The continent of Tar was dominated by Markind, while Mankind declined, ending up caged with ferocious beasts. Held between the black walls and the unending dead lands was the uncharted territory—mankind\'s prison.

Year by year, armies of mankind charged up the wall, only to be cut down mercilessly. Like ants, they were stomped upon, their lives meaning nothing to those who held the walls.

With unwavering faith in God, hope and thirst for freedom, united under the Aegis Corps, mankind persisted.
They never gave up, yet as generations passed mankind\'s beliefs waned, their bonds growing weaker, until Aether was discovered.
This newfound power changed everything.
