A young man grows depressed. He feels shackled with his existence his countless achievements means nothing.
He grows to hate his existence, he lacks challenge.
He lacks the will to continue. He wants to fade away. But, he also refuse to end it.
life being short and unpredictable he slips to his death and dies after his final achievement before he retires.
In another universe those that cultivate reign supreme. Might makes right. Personal power means everything.
