The Gravedigger

This book is a mess... It's so inconsistent it already changed the power rating system at least 5 times and I didn't even read till the 40th chapter. The character suddenly loses levels or xp, randomly gains new abilities only because he complains about it and all in all it's just a dumpsterfire. A lvl 2 human wins against a lvl 15 merman. He is able toneasily battle with enemies twice his level and grades, ranks and whatever don't matter at all. If you can turn your head off, like really really off, you might enjoy this, otherwise there's just way too much to throw you off

Actually, an interesting idea, I liked it. Although 20 chapters is not enough to build an opinion, but the potential is there for the book. The author has a lot of room to develop - that's undeniable, however I like his writing style.My advice is to pay more attention to the detailing of the environment and characters (of course, you don't need to overdo it), but otherwise you're doing a good job.

"What in the world" as I whispered to myself as I awoke in confusion as I remember those gorgeous, haunting, beautiful eyes from my dream I just had. The only reason why I felt confusion with this dream is what those eyes brought out of me and how it made my inner monster go made with possessiveness and how protective and yearning they were to meet the person with those eyes. I feeling if I ever met the person with those pair of eyes, well lets just say I'm going to have one heck of a ride.

I awoke to find myself alone in the room, the boy's bed neatly made, as if no one had even been there. I frowned at the state of my hair, which was tangled and dirty, and stood. That guy and I were roommates…that meant I was allowed to use his shower…right?
