Claire believed she had it all: a dashing billionaire husband, a lavish lifestyle, and promising dreams for the future. Yet, beneath the glamorous exterior of her marriage to Leonard Parker, CEO of Parker Industries, lurked a heartbreaking truth. For five years, Claire had been overshadowed by Leonard's childhood friend, Charlotte, who seemed to hold his undivided affection. Despite her deep love for Leonard, Claire felt suffocated in a world where she was constantly second to Charlotte. The revelation of her pregnancy brought a flicker of hope to their struggling marriage. However, a devastating accident shattered her dreams, revealing that in Leonard's eyes, Charlotte would always come first. With a heavy heart, Claire made the agonizing choice to walk away, determined to reclaim her identity and protect her unborn child. This departure marked the beginning of a challenging new path. Along the way, she found unlikely friendships and reignited her passion for architecture. But Leonard's reluctance to let her go and Charlotte's true colors threatened to upend everything Claire held dear. In this tug-of-war between love and independence, could Claire find the strength to forge her own path, build a life for herself and her child, or would the pull of Leonard's love prove too irresistible and trap her in a world where her heart would always be secondary?

Harem: Who the heck put this tag here? And why?
COMMENT: This novel is certainly better than the manhwa version, but it's not without flaws. In fact, it's full of them. It was dropped due to censorship just when the story was becoming interesting and less repetitive. Personally, despite having many complaints about this novel, this sudden interruption left me feeling empty.
