Phew, here it comes. My very first author's review. The Divine and the Damned is a vampire fantasy romance following Dragos Nicolae Vlad III, a special vampire—the chosen one, and Dawn Carter, his love interest, a woman whose destiny stands against what he is.As a result of their forbidden love, rival vampire clans come for them. But despite the danger Dawn represents, Dragos finds himself unable to turn away from her. Their love challenges ancient traditions and stirs up conflict within the vampire community, but still, they stick together, fighting their way through, breaking the ancient curse afflicting Dragos' bloodline, and striving to create a future where vampires and humans can coexist peacefully. But this story isn’t just about Dragos and Dawn. It explores the history, conflicts, and hierarchies of the vampire world, tracing back to Dragavei, the first of Dragos’ bloodline, and his tragic past with his wife.It delves into the struggles of Azrael, Dragos' ruthless older brother, whose backstory is as heartbreaking as it is intense. It follows Rafael, Dragos' loyal sireling, exposing his own challenges.Every character has a part to play, each with their own scars, goals, and choices that affect the world around them. This book is filled with relatable and emotional themes of grief, destiny, romance, betrayal, revenge, redemption, and so much more. It's not just about the supernatural battles, but the emotional battles the characters face.I spent two years writing this story, facing challenges like writer's block and tackling plot holes along the way. It’s a book I poured my heart into, bonding with the characters, especially Azrael, and now that I've decided to share it with the world, I truly hope you give it a chance. So, if you love supernatural romance and a forbidden love that defies fate, then The Divine and the Damned is for you. Dragos, Dawn, and many others would love for you to read their story.

I enjoyed the connection between the main characters. The slow-burn romance and those small, heartfelt moments made their relationship feel so real. The author did an amazing job balancing the struggles and the sweet moments, making the story so engaging. Definitely one of my favorite BL reads. Would love to read more of this kind of genre.

I like the story, so far, it reminds me of "Slave Harem in the Labyrinth of the Other World" without the isekai. The only issue I have so far is the use of classes, they seem pointless, but the acquisition of some, so far, pointless skills.

Suddenly I remember my school homework. "By the way, did you have done the homework, Human Sciences? you know, something about human life".

Wanting to leave such an orphanage as soon as possible, he found a job and started working right after graduating from the Elementary. While resembling a very thin stick, thanks to his height over his age, he convincingly lying about how old he actually was proved to be rather easy. Of course, on that one of an occasion his lies expose, he got chase away without receiving a payment, but well, that was to be expected.

It worked better for him that way, though. He didn't need any attention until he could gain some type of backing. He would have to repeat those tests once he entered military school, but he could wait. And by then, he would be protected by the military, if only slightly.
