Following the tragic loss of his friend, Jason's world crumbled. He turned to alcohol as a coping mechanism, drowning his sorrows in a desperate attempt to numb the pain. The once-driven leader lost interest in everything, even his position within the pack. All he wanted was solitude. Fed up with people's pity and their expectations of him to remain the strong one, he decided to leave the pack behind. Seeking refuge among humans in the city, he found himself free from the constant judgment and unmet expectations. In this new environment, Jason met a woman named Kimberly. She too was grappling with her own significant challenges. Perhaps their paths crossing wasn't just a coincidence, but a chance encounter that could potentially offer them both solace and a fresh perspective...

Popular Reviews
I got tired of reading these "Super advanced AI's that are indistinguishable from humans" in VR novels that basically just boil down to Skyrim NPCs after the first interaction, so I wrote NPCs that actually have personalities.
100 chapters and you can find a couple of plotholes (important ones) and the novel skips a lot of content expecting you to know what's happening behind the scenes.
For me, the biggest plothole is her medical skill, we know the MC comes from the 21st century and is a genius when it comes to medicine but somehow she's able to concoct magical medicines with magical herbs like if she had studied their effects somewhere. The same goes for other stuff that can be used for medical purposes. She's totally ignorant about the cultivation world and its fantasy elements until it isn't convenient for her.
As I said, it has potential, I love how the protagonist uses martial arts and how it's described but those plotholes and content skipped really hurts the novel.
