Time seemed to pass without notice during this intense staring contest, until a fellow ten-year-old with blond hair approached, calling out, "Jordan, your mom is looking for you." The blonde boy glanced briefly at the girl before tugging on Jordan's arm, causing him to continue staring back at her even as he was being led away. "Elle!" a girl with similar age, also with grey eyes, exclaimed, running up to her friend. "Come and see the sandcastle Rosalie and I built!"
