Project Exonaut

I wrote this story years ago and only recently found it again so I thought I might as well continue it and it turned out to be more than I expected. Was a project I had to do some years ago so I gave it another whirl and thought it might be a pretty interesting story. Please give your feedback on this, would really like to know what you think about it and I may write and expand more on it :D

They came without warning or signal, the creatures, such dark cosmic beast from the unknown revealed themselves to us in our light with the blood of our species in their jaws. Humanity faced a crisis of Nova\'s, unknown beast from beyond our galaxy came into our star sectors thirsting for us. Rampaging through our planets turning our once prosperous planets full of life and into a dead blackened sea of blood and pestilence the Nova\'s intended to wipe out Humanity. Nova\'s have no mercy in their assaults and destruction of our sectors and neither will we.
