Tara couldn’t believe her bad luck. Out of all the people looking for a roommate, she ended up with her boss, Selena. Selena—known for her sharp wit, enchanting looks, and a rumored history with a few past coworkers—had a reputation as the office “temptress.” Watching Selena move with that effortless allure, Tara silently vowed to keep a safe, respectful distance. But on the very first night of living together, that same untouchable boss ended up sleepwalking… right into Tara’s room, wrapping herself around her with surprising softness and refusing to let go, nestled into Tara’s chest as if it were the most natural thing in the world. She even went out of her way to “accidentally” create situations that would draw them together. But her darling intern remained unmoved, cool and reserved, her demeanor bordering on chilly. When a close friend pointed out that no one wants to room with their boss, saying, “Living with your boss just feels like working overtime every night,” Selena pouted but couldn’t deny it. Resting her head against Tara’s shoulder, Selena couldn’t help but think, Too true… I do have her working ‘overtime’ every night.
