Mia Thomson, an 18-year-old senior in high school, found herself heartbroken when she discovered her long-term boyfriend had betrayed her with her closest friend. The emotional blow was too much, and she fainted, needing immediate medical attention. In the hospital, she had an unexpected encounter with Shawn Mandez, the charismatic CEO of Beats Corporation, who faced a pressing issue - he desperately needed a spouse. Feeling a mix of shock and compassion, Mia reluctantly agreed to help Shawn, despite her own personal turmoil. However, their brief marriage, which was solely for his needs, ended abruptly after they signed the paperwork. The typically enigmatic CEO spoke coldly, "I'll have my assistant send over the divorce papers," before disappearing into a sleek black Maybach, leaving Mia in disbelief as the luxury vehicle vanished from sight.

The MC in this is pretty fleshed out, a knowledge seeker with his own morals and principles that may have been from outside influences or disastrous consequences. He rarely makes any sort of mistake a second time which also brings up what type of character he is.
The background is HP so for any1 that has any idea of what HP is, you can kinda get it well. Just that the Potter family changed a bit.
To me, what defined and ruined it for me are The Vaults. They are amazingly written to the point I believe it’s in a canon book somewhere. But at the same time, the Colours Arc (Part of the Vaults) is what made a lot of people disappointed in this book. (Speaking of which, Daphne Greengrass is a real popular option huh?)
Other than the ending was a bit rushed, it’s a solid read. (8/10)
