Energy is the foundation of a Global economy and energy equals political and social power. While mankind receives a per capita ration of power if more is needed it must be won from the AI\'s that control the power source through competition in Full Immersion Realities. The AI\'s deliberately designed the Full Immersion Technology to be usable by those with a specific genetic trait present in only five percent of the population. Those that can use the technology are called Travelers and while they are considered a \'privileged\' social class they are controlled by the enormous \'educational\' debt they acquire learning to use the technology.

Robert \'Fat Bobby\' Karlyle was just another Texas farm boy until his eighteenth birthday when he was discovered to have the genetic trait required to be a Traveler. Ten weeks ago he was the lowest ranked member of his Traveler Class leaving his home town for the Traveler Training Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Today he is debt free and back to living a \'normal\' life on his family\'s farm. Only now the friends that helped and supported him through the Training Academy are preparing to enter the futuristic planetary battle Reality Mecc 12 where the Team they had built would now be the lowest ranked Team in a Universe. Fat Bobby can\'t abandon a friend in need, so it\'s time to put away the plow, climb back into his Mecc and rejoin the Team. It\'s time for them to face a hostile Universe and find out if they really are Warriors, or just more cannon fodder.
