MC had simple dreams - to carry on his family legacy and serve as a divine warrior, an abbot in his sacred monastery. However, beneath the ancient monastery's walls lay a hidden truth. While exploring, he stumbled upon a crypt where the fallen angel, Lucifer, was once entombed - a shocking revelation from his family history. Despite his unwavering faith, he found himself drawn to the enigmatic figure, as his once orderly life began to unravel. As he delved deeper, he realized that the boundaries between good and evil were not as clear-cut as he thought. The world he knew held far more complexities beyond what was visible. Gradually, a myriad of otherworldly beings emerged around him, challenging his understanding of reality. Little by little, MC uncovered a profound secret that would forever alter his path.

Can't get enough of this intriguing, fascinating story! I just hope Khalid is a good guy & refuses to side with his psychotic mother.

Im afraid this novel follows in the footsteps of many promising Xianxia novels. From chapter 1-50 it was a truly great start, 9/10, great characters, compelling story, well written. Chapter 51-100 faltered a little, but still a solid 7/10, the fighting scenes were needlessly long and some plot points stretched past any reasonable benefit of the doubt, but the story was still compelling, the pace steady, it was still a worthy novel. After chapter 100, and specifically chapter 128-130 which is one of the dumbest things i have ever read, things start to fall apart, the author starts making huge leaps of logic, characters behave erratically in service of the general direction of the plot over consistency, and the pacing grinds to a halt. This is just another case of an author having a great premise at the start, but once they pass that first prompt and have to start writing multiple new chapters a week without any real plan they just cant keep up the quality of the work. Its a shame.

The author literally rushed the ending, could've ended it with a few more chapters, not a vague ending... All in all, its good! I recommend it to readers who likes to read Novel about Martial Arts :)
