I concur with Drake888's assessment. The story is engaging overall, particularly within the slice-of-life genre, but the main character (MC) is the weak point. It's best enjoyed in smaller doses rather than consecutive hundred-chapter reads, as the repetitiveness starts to set in.

The book serves as a great stress reliever or a palate cleanser between intense stories. However, my interest waned after Chapter 375 due to the MC's increasingly unlikeable behavior. He constantly emphasizes his belief in hard work as the sole reason for his success, which becomes annoying, especially when he repeatedly attributes his "luck" with the firefly grass experience packs. While he does put effort into his plants, his actions aren't significantly more arduous than those of other cultivators, and his casual use of his cheat ability feels off.

Additionally, the repetitive jokes about the scabbard become grating, suggesting either an attempt at smut or a hypocritical dig at the harem genre, given the author's earlier critique.

The writing is commendable, although there are minor inconsistencies in plant terminology and some species confusion in the translation. The narrative revolves around Lu Xuan, the protagonist, as he adapts to life in this new world. The plot predominantly showcases a ruthless struggle for self-interest, with the main character possessing a cheat that enables him to advance without putting himself at risk.

Though the MC initially had a safety net, his own greed occasionally leads him into perilous situations. As the story progresses, the world's plant lore unfolds gradually through the MC's acquisition of new skills.

Initially, I found the scarcity and underrepresentation of female cultivators off-putting. However, this aspect evolves as the character moves to different locations. This could be interpreted as a subtle commentary on the harsh realities faced by female practitioners in the beginning location or the author's conscious effort to address the imbalance later on. In the "Sky Sword Arc," the gender ratio seems more balanced now.

The book is indeed well-crafted, but it has a leisurely pace, with minimal action scenes. It primarily revolves around discovering new treasures, cultivating rare seeds, agricultural pursuits, sporadic battles, and a touch of everyday life experiences. The narrative essentially follows a repetitive pattern of these themes.

The main character lacks excitement, and although the setting has potential, it could benefit from a deeper exploration of the world. Additionally, the side characters need more substantial development to enhance the overall story.

In essence, my ideal novel would blend elements of xianxia (immortal fantasy) with farming and everyday life. The protagonist is introverted, avoiding the typical rush into dungeons or danger often depicted in such stories. He prefers a more laid-back lifestyle, engaging in casual conversations with others. It's an intriguing read, despite the translation being less polished.

It's a typical cultivation novel where the protagonist gains an advantage and rises above others低调行事, but his background as a transplant isn't a significant focus. The author could've easily brushed it aside by mentioning a few memory fragments from our world without affecting his character much. The slang and inner monologues were probably used as an excuse, but since the MC was so normal in his past life, it felt like a cheap way to pad the story with internet-savvy teenager references.

The concept is intriguing, but there's a lack of clarity on the cultivation system. The protagonist acquired "months of cultivation," yet the reader has no understanding of its impact on their progress or the requirements for breaking through. It feels odd to be in a world centered around cultivation without any detailed explanation of its workings.
