it's a fun read lolol but I personally think Fan Yuan's character projection seemed lacking and Yan Rui's character seemed like foil or maybe I'm just a bit sad it already ended sigh (I also haven't read the extras yet).
This novel could have been so much better with a few extra chapters. Why was he so afraid of making some form of aftersory or to explain things. It left to much unresolved and was to sudden making it feel unsatisfying.
I CANNOT RATE THIS BOOK YET. I HAVE TO READ UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF IT. I HOPE IT WILL NOT REACH A THOUSAND CHAPTERS LIKE THE OTHERS THAT I'VE STARTED READING AND EVENTUALLY I STOPPED BECAUSE OF THE SCHEMES AND TWISTS WHICH DRAGGED THE STORY THAT MAKE IT BORING.
Impressions:
Good art, solid adaptation of the anime that respects its spirit, but surprisingly short and lacking some of the stronger stories. Maybe it wasn't popular enough to fully explore everything the anime covered? Unfortunately, overall, there isn't really much reason to read the manga instead of watching the anime.
