I’m dying right now. Yet, I can’t rest.
– Seems like it’s dragging on a bit, doesn’t it?
– The author’s trying to wrap it up quickly.
– But we haven’t even gotten all the plot points yet?
– It’s just about to get interesting, so how can they end it? We need 10 more volumes!
– I’m hooked as always. Thank you writer-nim!
The readers don’t understand my situation. For the past 10 years, I’ve been writing like crazy. It’s almost over now. I must escape this hell…

I was a little sad that the story ended like this... but now that I looked I see that the novel has 1030 chapters and is ongoing.
(I'm sorry if it simple but taht how i can express my gratitude for the chapters)
The title reflects the ongoing challenge the Tokkei face: being labeled as "dolls" or "puppets" who blindly carry out executions. Should personal emotions play a role in their harrowing duties?
This is akin to a police procedural (fans of "Switch," another work by Naked Ape, will recognize similar themes of law enforcement and detective work). However, these executioners are armed with both swords and guns, adding a unique twist. High-stakes drama and psychological intrigue keep the story gripping.
The artwork is stunning, characterized by strong contrasts and fluid lines. My only critique is that some characters can be difficult to distinguish at times, though this issue is less pronounced than in "Switch."
The primary drawback for me was the graphic violence. After all, the plot involves pursuing dangerous criminals. Whether implied or depicted, there's a significant amount of unsettling content, which led me to lower my rating from a 9 to an 8. (It’s not as extreme as in "E's" or "Trinity Blood," though.)
Overall, this is a captivating and thought-provoking josei manga.
