To conquer the heroine, one needs high stats, accurate choices, and player skills in the romantic action RPG called Lovely Sorcerer. A young man who had immersed himself in the game until completing it woke up one day to find himself inside Lovely Sorcerer.

He quickly realized that he had been reincarnated into the game world. However, the character he became, named Hermes von Lunacelia, was nothing more than a nameless noble mob in the main story.

Though slightly shocked, he decided to strive for greatness as Hermes in the world he had longed for, even as a mob.

Little did he know, this place was subtly different from the familiar world he knew…

It's utterly revolting; I just can't comprehend the mindset of these Japanese MC. Why do they persist in avoiding all female characters as if they're catastrophic? Initially, he claimed he wanted to stay away from in-game characters, like the protagonist and heroines, but what about the girl he rescued and others? Didn't he say she wouldn't appear in the game? It raises suspicion that despite being a son of a duke, someone expected to possess high social acumen, he might be an oddball who refuses to engage with anyone. Until the latest translated chapters, I refuse to rate it above one star.

The protagonist in this novel follows a typical OP (Overpowered Protagonist) formula often seen in cheat-based stories. They strive to become the strongest in an impressively short period, maintaining their distance from the main plot while subtly demonstrating their superiority over the original main character, who possesses elemental affinities. The MC showcases their immense power compared to the young magical prodigy in the tale.

In the story, around Chapter 25 or so, an event occurs that deviates from the original narrative. Predictably, the MC swiftly handles the situation, adhering to the formula we've come to expect from many generic isekai tales. The translation is solid, and the storytelling receives a modest rating of 3-4 stars. However, the story itself might be rated 2.5 to 2 stars due to its similarity to other clichéd isekai narratives.

For those new to the genre, it might seem appealing, but for those who have read extensively in this type of literature, the book might only be worth a read if there's nothing else available.

Honestly, this so-called "mob" is actually someone who deeply loves the world he's immersed in. Like a true gaming enthusiast, he has taken it upon himself to improve, striving for strength. It's crucial to note that a dedicated fan wouldn't resort to stealing key plot elements or items from the main character. The reality is, this individual is a single-minded player, solely focused on being #1, not a fan per se.

He pretends not to crave attention, but one of the game's events he mentions involves scoring higher than potential love interests on exams. To secure the best outcome, he tops everyone else, yet now complains about lost time and unwanted fame. Frankly, I wish I could knock some sense into him.

The story seems rather unimpressive to me. The main character's perspective feels forced, as if they're narrating, "Wow!

It seems like I am beginning to comprehend the other readers' perspectives. I tried my best to read on, but the main character (MC) really grated on my nerves. I concur with Engue's view. The MC comes across as a hypocrite, constantly talking about distancing himself from the heroines to gain strength but frequently getting entangled with them. He uses excuses like "I can't abandon a girl" as justification for helping or saving them.

Frankly, I find the MCs who openly express their desire to save the heroines more genuine. As for the story, I gave it two stars due to the intriguing concept. Unfortunately, the execution falls short. However, there's a fascinating theory I've seen in the summary that hasn't been discussed much: Potential spoiler ahead.

The MC might be the protagonist of a sequel to the game, which was released after his demise, hence his unawareness. This could explain the appearance of characters like Victoria, the Duke's daughter he initially perceived as minor, Seria (I might have the spelling wrong), the bullied girl determined to become strong in swordsmanship, and the adventuress, whose father, an Earl, rivaled the Sword Saint in strength.

These "mob girl" dynamics appear to resemble typical heroine tropes. Just to clarify, this is mere speculation, not confirmed fact. Despite this theory, the MC's behavior eventually became too much for me, so I decided to stop reading.
