Far, far away, in the Land of Lost and Wonder, lived a man as mad as a hatter. Forgotten by the world, he continued his life in solitude. But this isn’t his story.
This is a story about his daughter.
Ever since Alice had her grand adventure, she left Wonderland behind, and the magical world faded into memory—a mere dream to those who once visited. But what of those who were left behind? What became of the people and the magic that remained?
This is my story.
My name is Madie Hatter, and I am the daughter of the Mad Hatter himself.
For too long, I’ve lived in the shadows of his legacy, watching Wonderland grow quieter and lonelier. But now, it’s time for the world to hear my name.
This is my story and be ware it may be madness because we all are mad here. I am telling my story and it is time that the rebels has they happy ending juts like the fairy tales.

good novel, at first I did not give much faith, since it had a few bad reviews, but the only thing I can say is that I do not regret giving it a try, if you want to compare this story with another as a guide I would say that the profane prince,  but obviously different, obviously recommended and as you can see the story has for many chapters yet, we just have to hope that the author never leaves us like most :( **: I would like you to be able to better describe the characters since the spoken features are very  Lazy and we don't have enough to imagine them, it would also be nice if you at least gave each girl a name, even if you only name her once because everything is like saying mmm very empty

I honestly gotta say that at the moment this is the novel i am looking forward to the most each day. It got a unique setting with a young man whose father died and his mom, an american, actually comes to pick him up and take him to live with her and his 2 halfsiblings and 3 stepsiblings in New York. Which is amazing in my opinion because first of all too few chinese novels take place outside of china, which is why this story is such a breath of fresh air. Secondly he actually lives in a normal patchwork family, his siblings, some care for him more some less, are normal people and his stepfather tries to understand and support him so we actually got a normal western family culture instead of the typical "my father's 7th mistresses' adopted son doesn't like me so i have to kill him" type of bull**** that i am allready so tired of.Furthermore it got a dark theme, an mc that's not fascinated by every beautiful girl that comes by (we actually only have 1 girl that's important at the moment which is amazing) and he is kind of badass with a unique cultivation system where he doesn't kill everybody just because but if somebody tries to really mess with him he goes ham because negative emotions help him cultivate faster so the story gotta stay more on the dark side (nice). As for worldbuilding and pacing they are both nice, even though we don't know much about the wizard world. That's about one of the few things that i don't like about this novel: the word choice of the translator. Everybody who has read enogh wuxia novels will realise that he is actually not a wizard (thanks harry for ruining this term for me) but a gu master, who uses poisonous animals (insects, snakes, reptiles, etc.). That is also why it is so confusing that the word "worm" was chosen to descrobe any kind of poisonous creature the mc encounters: "Wow it's a worm" (he says while looking at a toad)"Such an amazing wizard worm" (he says while looking at a komodo dragon)You get me right? If not for the (kind of) poor word choice, the many grammar mistakes and ****ed up uses of the metric system (a 15 meters long reptile weighs 1.5 kg, sure why not) and the frickin slow update pace this would easily crush most novels that are currently being translated just because of a simple fact:THIS NOVEL IS TRULY UNIQUE AND NOT WUXIA COPY PASTE

Here's the deal, this is my second review of the novel since January 8th and an update on my previous thoughts.Imagine being introduced to an interesting world and concept in a deceptively unique way and getting hyped for the direction in which the novel may take. Now imagine that it doesn't stop introducing you... This novel feels like you're reading a summary to what happens in a much better novel of the same name. /MC or the Protagonist: /goes into dungeon alone, shows off his amazing skills (wowzers) then wins. MC gets into another impossibly difficult encounter with an incredibly powerful foe, MC wins again, except this time he has 5 people to clap for him as he struts about doing so. The novel spends too much time explaining how great the protagonist is and not enough time giving the reader what they really want... in other words, the mash and potatoes known as character development. Most of the enemies are virtually reduced to numbers and hit markers, which would be fine if the entire story didn't revolve around killing them. It's like reading a play by play of  a World of warcraft raid. No ******* whether they win or lose as there happens to be a reviving function as it's a video game. Alas I got side tracted let's return to a previous point of mine. Making a character op is not really a huge bother for me. If it's done right. The problem is, the author has him acting and being treated like a haughty playground kindergartner who found out that he's really good at 4 square for the precise reason that no one else can jump. He has characters mentioning his op gaming prowess as his weird smarts or crazy intelligence when all he truly does is use a spell that he created before we even began reading the novel. Thus leaving us to contemplate whether he even made the damn thing because he doesn't show this "skill" again, atleast not til where I stopped. /World:/ why does he play this game, where'd he get it, what are the game rules, how come it's so popular that money in game is equivalent to real money, when is this taking place and who the **** is the sister he is supposed to be motivated to save? You can expect none of these questions to be answered as it seems the author is more keen to throw more giant numbers at the MC and then praise him for defeating them. That's it... really seriously that's all the story amounts to. All his relationships are based off of his incredible gaming prowess and they reek of something stank. I am just so annoyed by this Novel as it grabbed my attention and then became content to sit in it's own filth as it eventually smelled of rot.

Even if a person was disabled through starvation, would he turn out like this? If it wasn't day light instead on night, then he would have suspected an evil magic was making the corpse move.
