The artwork is truly exceptional. It evokes memories of other artists at times, yet it possesses its own original and distinctive style. However, some characters' appearances can be rather perplexing for those who aren't paying close attention.
As for the character personalities, they are well-crafted for those developed in depth. The villain is convincing, driven blindly by his objectives to the point of neglecting other matters. The heroine is strong and confident, while the male lead provides comic relief with a deeper, darker side. Unfortunately, the other characters merely seem designed to look cool and lack any significant purpose within the story.
Despite these minor issues, I thoroughly enjoyed the narrative during the beginning and middle portions. It featured unexpected twists and complexity. However, there is one aspect that troubles me and ultimately leads to the manga's downfall: the ending.
I won't reveal specifics about the ending, but I am among many readers who are profoundly disappointed. It concludes abruptly and poorly, lacking any semblance of logic. It appears the mangaka grew lazy and devised a finale that squanders all the series' potential. Several crucial questions remain unanswered (such as why a particular event didn't occur when it was explicitly stated it should have happened), and various outcomes are left unresolved (one character is entirely forgotten and never mentioned again once the final battle commences, despite being the primary reason for the battle itself).
Let me advise potential readers who've made it this far: if you're seeking a happily ever after or romance, this is not the story for you. It's a tragic tale with supernatural elements. The entire narrative reaches a premature conclusion, and it's evident that laziness impacted the creator. The last chapter finally explores the power of friendship, only for the final pages to undermine it all, leaving one to question why it ended in such a manner.
