Blurb:
Aurora “Rory” Thompson is a fearless journalist with a knack for uncovering the truth. In the bustling streets of modern-day New York City, her latest investigation thrusts her into the shadowy world of Julian “The Bull” DeMarco, a charismatic and ruthless mafioso with a reputation for controlling everything—and everyone—around him.
What begins as a quest for justice soon becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse. Drawn to Julian’s magnetic allure, Rory finds herself trapped between her ambition and the perilous pull of his power. As she digs deeper, Rory uncovers secrets that could shatter the underworld—and her sense of morality.
With rival families, law enforcement, and betrayal lurking around every corner, Rory must navigate a web of danger and deceit. When Julian’s true intentions come to light, she’s forced to confront the ultimate question: will she risk everything to expose the truth, or will she succumb to the darkness that threatens to consume her?

To be honest, I enjoyed the story at first. But as things went on it started to drift away from its main ideas and fall apart. The system kinda just isn't relevant(in a bad way) and the main character doesn't utilize it intelligently. The disciples are all two dimensional and have flat personalities. Nothing interesting about them and they are sidelined too.By chapter 50, everything afterward is mainly focused on generic face slapping villains who are redundant and just waste time to read about.Like there's a huge battle going on and the story ignores it in favor of having a conflict with some guy no one cares about for ten chapters. Not even an exaggeration.Don't recommend reading past chapter 43.0 0 Reply

the mc is basically a idiot with all whole bunch of advanced knowledge its like giving a dumb person the most advance computer in the whole universe and they only use it to what adult movies because of the graphics as for the people of that world it's like the author is trying to make them dumb so that he can make the mc look more smarter that he actually is like at the start is was okay but there is absolutely no progress in his personality he is just like a clueless baby whose only program to not use his brain when everything is laid out right in front of him and to help and be use by every character he comes across just for the sake of moving the story forward0 0 Reply

If you want to read something that is intense, mysterious and humourous at the same time, this story is perfect! I enjoyed reading and how the intense from the first part switch to something humorous and fun to the next part. And every chapter is worth it since there will be slight mystery between scenes that will hook you more into the story. I love this!♥️0 0 Reply

I like the story. It's really great. The way Kye's emotions are shown is well good and the way you show how your characters think is great too. They aren't just some people to decorate the scene but real people with emotions.Continue author-nim0 0 Reply

I'm entertained with the novel so far, interaction with God himself and a relatable protagonist can produce great chemistry with the narrative. There are diverse character and imagery within this novel. Overall, a great novel from the beginning. Keep it Up.0 0 Reply
